Letters of thanks

Dear Cuties,
Finally!  A fruit that lasts forever, can be easily peeled by 4 and 5 year old hands, that doesn't need washing, that's healthy, and that doesn't drip or make a mess.  You're fabulous and I appreciate that you come in a bag of 35 at Costco.  I don't even know what you cost, I've never even looked.  It doesn't matter, I'd buy you regardless.  You're fabulous.

Much love,
Ashley

Dear Washing Machine Lifts,
You make my lazy life even easier.  Being nearly 6 feet tall and with unexplained inflammation in my body makes bending down for things all day a little rough at times.  You make my life so much easier and I couldn't be more grateful.  Now instead of having to lean over to take clothes from the washing machine to the dryer, I can just stand upright and do it.  You also make the dryer the perfect height for the kids to stand and watch you go 'round and 'round as you dry the clothes.  When one is 19 months old that's a hoot, apparently.

Much love,
Ashley

Dear Pandora,
You are my baking partner, my cooking partner, and you are incredibly genius.  Somedays are a Harry Connick, Jr. day, some days are a BBD day, some days are Toad the Wet Sprocket Day.  You bring it each and everytime.  My baked goods taste better because of you, I'm sure of it.

Much love,
Ashley

Dear Random Old Navy Gift Card I Found in my Wallet,
I have absolutely no idea how long you've been in there or who gave it to me but you were worth $50 and that is just awesome.  I still spent $391 on kids winter clothes, but without you I would have walked out spending over $400 and c'mon.  That's just ridiculous.

Much love,
Ashley

Dear Cell Phone Battery,
You suck.  You just do.  I charge you until you're full and after 10 texts you have one bar.  After one 20 minute conversation you shut yourself off.  What the hell?

No love,
Ashley

Dear Iced Grande Non-fat Toffee Mocha,
Oh, where shall I start.  I have such a love/hate relationship with you.  You cost me $4.25 four out of seven days a week.  That's right.  Four out of seven.  I haven't thought about the total cost because then I'd feel guilty.  I also haven't looked at your nutrients because, well... then I'd feel guilty.  I pretty much shut my brain off for 20 minutes on those mornings, order it, pay for it, enjoy it, then join the intelligent world again.  It's terrible, I know.  It's also not helping my Weight Watcher effort.  Do they sell sweatshirts that say Body By Starbucks?  If not, they should.  And if you haven't tried this yet, you should.  It's ok, just shut your brain off for a few minutes tomorrow morning and DO IT.

MUCH love,
Ashley

  2. I love the cuties! I've never seen them at Costco so I will look. Luke loves them and I pay an enormous price for them at Safeway...sometimes there is a coupon in the weekend paper. I just bought a huge thing of grapes at Costco for the first time...way cheaper than the grocery store and we actually ate all of them! I tried the tofee mocha when it first came out (regular) and OMG it was fantastic. I checked the pts and almost died. DIED. Maybe I'll check to see what it is nonfat. I think I'm gonna have to lose a pt because I haven't lost this week and have been ON. Bummer.

  3. Love love love. We have loved cuties for years and years. The kids will eat and eat and eat them. Every time I see someone rave about their washing machine stands I wonder why I don't have them as I'm always bending over - sometimes just squatting and it sucks. Pandora - I love it. I've been listening to my Brendan James channel all week. I also hate my cell phone with the fire of a thousand burning suns.
