Comment and have a chance to win!

It's that time again!  It's time to print the blog into a book!  I do it every 6 months and it's my only kind of diary, record keeping, recording of milestons, picture-scrapbook kinda thing that I have.  You can click here to see what the final product looks like, they are actually quite nice.  And it publishes everything - what I've written, the pictures, and your comments.  This will be Volume III which means I've been blogging for 18 months.  That seems like a long time but I can't really remember not having this blog, either.  Anyway, I thought before I published the third blook, I'd do one thing -  I'd do a little giveaway!

I have never read a parenting book.  It just wasn't my thing.  I had What to Expect When You're Expecting, but I used it as a reference guide.  Like when the veins in my boobs starting looking like a road map to Tahoe I'd look up "veins in boobs" and read that paragraph.  I recently bought, however, the book entitled, Wonderful Ways to Love a Child after I heard the author speak on Oprah.  I bought the book from someone on ebay and they sent me two of them.  I thought, what am I going to do with two of these?  Wait!  A perfect little thing to give away on the blog!

The rules are as simple as they could be.  All you need to do is comment on this post, that's it.  You don't have to be a fan on our facebook page and you don't have to be an official follower of this blog.  All you have to do is comment on this post (not through facebook, through the blog!).  I know that only about 1% of the people who check in with me comment and I'd like to change that.  Don't be shy, drop me a line!

I'll be submitting the last 6 months of blog posts to be published on Thursday, April 14th so that's when I'll choose a person who has commented as the recipient of this great little book.  It'll be a random drawing and I will probably have my toddler assistant draw the name out of a hat.  And even if for some reason you choose to not follow, or "like" us on facebook, or comment, thanks for checking in and reading.

Read a summary and the reviews by clicking here.

You have 'til Thursday to comment on this post and the book could belong to you.  xoxo

  6. Sorry I'm normally a stalker. I LOVE reading your blog though and am excited to see what the kids have done when an update pops up in my Google Reader. I totally need to print my blog - I've never done it and that the only way I've documented the first 3 years of Nate's life.

  8. I am planning to print my blog too, but am not sure how often to have it printed. I was thinking once a year, but maybe every six months is better. Hmmm....

  9. This is so great. I wish I could get myself together and at least get my scrapbooking done. The memories your children will have in this blog are..well do you really want them to read them all. Ha! Really you are doing a great job! I enjoy reading them. They have made me laugh and made me cry all at once.

You are a amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Thanks for all the advice. And keep up the good work!

  10. What company do you use to print your blog? I have never printed ours and would love to for the kids.

  11. Children, as they grow, think not of the inner turmoil sustained by their Mother in her role as their mentor, their protector, their teacher. Only through this beautiful blog will Drew and William and Lauren REALLY know their Mother...something most children will UNknowlingly ever be able to say.
