What would you say to her?

If you could go back and talk to your 8 year old self, what would you say?

I would tell her that going to bed in a room with beautiful flower wallpaper, with books, and a puppy to love on is something she'll never stop longing for, even at 35.

I would tell her that someday that dance partner would hold one of the most special places in her heart.  I would also tell her that dancing with a handsome boy is something she'll still get to do often, even at age 35.

I would tell her to put on some damn suncreen, that brown skin ain't quite as pretty at age 35 when it looks like an old handbag.  I would tell her to love love love that thick blonde hair, and that in 20 years her first child will turn it brown and wavy.  I would also tell her to dig walking around in a bathing suit in front of hundreds of people.  In 20 years her frist child will have ruined that, too.

Most of all, I'd tell her that she's destined to have the best life ever thanks to all the amazing people in it.
