Not ready

The weatherman says, "Today is going to be a mild 81*.  If you haven't worn short sleeves yet this season, today is the day!"  I gave him a look through my television screen that nearly burned off his toupee.  I am not. ready. for. short. sleeves.  I need to admit that I probably never really will be but some years (days?) I'm more comfortable than others.  Today is not one of those days.  Not only do I have these water balloonish things hanging on my upper arms (that's a nice visual, right?) but I am WHITE.  Like white, white.  The two are not a great combination.  Am I the only one?  Tomorrow is supposed to rain and be 60*.  By the end of the week it's supposed to be warm again.  Think I can lose 40 pounds, tone up, and get a tan before then?  No?  Damn.  How come no one told me spring was coming so soon?
