This whole incident ended without any major injuries which is rare and amazing. Maybe I shouldn't be dozing off in the middle of the day. On the other hand, I think it's awesome that this is what they do.

Lasso jeep
After school today the kids and I ate lunch on a blanket in the backyard. After lunch was eaten, I laid down and closed my eyes while the kids got up and played. I felt myself starting to doze off and other than having a child jump on me or something I knew it'd be fine to do so. It's nice that everyone is old enough finally so that a situation like this isn't life threatening to all involved. I woke up probably a minute and a half later to the sound of their jeeps coming towards me. I knew they wouldn't run me over but I heard them busy doing something other than just driving. I looked up and found them doing this:

Seriously, Amanda, I knew you'd see it. I swear to God she has a stash of chewies all over the house because they just appear out of no where. NO WHERE, I tell you. She's sick today so I've let her have one downstairs but the one I gave her is pink. I honestly think this one was stashed IN the jeep.

ReplyDeleteI can remember when my cousin was paci training and she swore her son had every lost paci from birth til three stored somewhere because he just kept appearing with them. :D
